Our Mission
NGics Lab develops nutrigenetics and integrated omics approaches for animal biotechnology. We combine controlled animal trials (pigs and poultry) with RNA-seq, 16S microbiome, and LC-MS-TOF metabolomics to understand the biological mechanisms behind feed efficiency, growth performance, and gut health.
Led by Dr. Sungbo Cho — Assistant Professor in the Department of Animal Biotechnology, Dankook University, with prior research positions at the University of Queensland, the University of Western Australia, and Inner Mongolia University for Nationalities — the lab translates molecular insights into practical strategies for sustainable pig and poultry production.
